The time Sunday evening was refreshing as well. It was nice for a change in the routine and capped off a great day. Thank you for all who came to the concert at WRBC. The music was edifying and your attendance was an encouragement to all who were there. Though you might not be aware, I know it encouraged Pastor English too.
This Sunday we will begin a new mini-series on several marks of a healthy church. Mark #1 is expositional preaching. I'll explain why on Sunday.
Please be in prayer for the MC Hoops dinner on Friday at 6pm. Many parents and players will be there and during that time I'll be presenting the two ways to live.If you have signed up and are planning to come, please mingle and be especially friendly and welcome these folks as guests. Introduce yourself, show interest in their lives, and love them as our neighbors. This is a ministry opportunity for us.
Finally, remember our member's meeting Sunday evening after the service. If you didn't pick up a sheet explaining more about the Buttram's in preparation for it please grab one off the foyer table. We'll vote on paper on the motion recommended by the mission committee. If you have any questions, please direct them to myself, Sherwood Young, and the other members of the missions committee.
Enjoy the spring weather!PJ
