We exist to see every neighborhood in Knox County become a beachhead for the Good News of King Jesus.
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.
We want to be a community of believers constantly growing in our faith and building up other believers. We view growth in Christ similarly to our biological lifecycles: spiritual infancy, childhood, adolescence, parenthood, and grandparenthood. We want to be disciples who make disciples who will become spiritual parents of their own.
That's why our church ministry includes multiple avenues for spiritual development including prayer meetings, Bible study, collaboration with other churches, GriefShare groups, teen group, junior church, and adult Sunday school.
We also simply gather, sharing meals and doing life together.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Loving our neighbor looks like being a blessing to our community. We have active outreach ministries led both by the church itself and individual members, and we also collaborate to support local leaders in their community events. If you know of a need where we can help, let us know.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
We believe that we have freely been given the best news ever. Our heart is that this Good News would reach the ends of the earth. We support many global missions who God is using to accomplish His Great Commission.
