Lydia's conversion is the first one that is so quiet and normal compared to the others so far but she ends up being a harbinger for the soon to be Philippian church. Lydia's conversion shows that the most extraordinary thing in all of them is that God opens hearts as we obediently speak His truth to others.

Our God is not just the God who could — He is the God who does, and did, and will do. He is the sovereign, risen Christ who takes His enemies — yes, even the most aggressive opponents — and conquers them, conscripts them, and commissions them. He reclaims more and more enemies so that the risen Lamb receives the full reward of His bleeding sacrifice with a crowd of men and women, boys and girls, redeemed by His blood, worshipping Him around His throne.

🛑When you obey the Spirit, He graciously uses you to bring Jesus to people who have been cut off — and He gives them a name that lasts forever.

🏡"When 'Even Those' Come Home" (Acts 8:4-25) ➡️By faith in the same Christ, God will give, even those we write off, the same Spirit He gave us.

When you understand the Father Who runs to you, you'll learn how to imitate Him in your fathering.
