What does a one-minded, secure, bold, steadfast church look like? What would a fragmented, insecure shaky church look like? Why do you think the Lord wanted Paul to help the little church in Philippi understand what a strong church looked like?

It's not that we don't love, it's that we love too many things instead of the best things. Our lives can be fragmented, pulled different directions, & out of tune. But through the grace and saving work of Christ, we are a shared community mobilized together (1-2), we have a shared care of discipleship together (3-8), and we have a shared direction of mission together (9-11). So, let's sharpen our direction for Christ's plan for His kingdom, so that the wisdom of God through the Church silences the scorn of the unseen evil powers.
